I had reached the end of a wonderful journey. I stood at a crossroad trying to decide which way to go when I noticed a wild, uncertain path through the woods. The roads before me beckoned, offering safety and a well-charted route; the path held mystery, adventure.
I chose the untraveled path. For all its dark twists and turns, its unmarked detours, I know in my gut I move in the right direction. Had I not gone this route I would forever wonder, “What if?” and that is the saddest question of all.
The purple crayon is such a beautiful story of a life well lived and a daughter’s loss. It is such a wonderful tribute!
